]]> My own personal take on theme number 9 (my first theme challenge on shutterchance). Sure, it's not the type of poverty people's hearts would break for, but if the both of us have to worry about what every single cent is being spent on, lose sleep over for, and having to convert to vegetarianism for the sake of saving money, then this image warrants to be part of the poverty theme, since there are many levels of poverty. I left the flourescent light from the desk lamp to shine purpose. Sort of a metaphor for shedding light to ourselves on our situation at the moment. Which we have to get out of pretty quickly. Having some camera equipment may make you go - "but you're not poor!!". But they are either old or given to us. I'm still paying off my DSLR. Things you do for the love of photography.
